On February 15, Davit Mumladze, the Executive Director of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Destination Management Organization presented a report on the activities performed in 2022 and discussed future plans. The meeting was quite representative. Besik Amiranashvili, State Representative in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Davit Vardiashvili, First Deputy of the State Representative, Shota Rostiashvili, Deputy, Giorgi Mikeladze, Head of the Administration,  representatives of local self-government, Municipality Mayors, Chairmen of the City Halls, their deputies and representatives of the non-governmental, educational and private sectors attended the meeting. The 2022 year was quite important for the Samtskhe-Javakheti Destination Management Organization. Three international exhibitions, six information tours, videos, brochures, guides, and many, many others – these are just a few of the products and activities carried out by the Samtskhe-Javakheti DMO in 2022. One of the biggest achievements of 2022 was DMO’s presence at the International Tourism Exhibitions for the first year which ultimately means that the visibility of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Region will increase among international visitors.
