Between July 13-18, the Samtskhe-Javakheti Destination Management Organization (DMO) hosted a press tour in the region. Along with a blogger invited from Finland, foreign journalists and bloggers living in Georgia visited the sights of the region.

As a result of the trip to Samtskhe-Javakheti, bloggers, and journalists will prepare articles and blogs that will be published in leading Finnish and British media, as well as on the participants’ personal blogs and social media. A photographer also took part in the tour, in order to enrich the photo bank of the Samtskhe-Javkheti DMO.

During the tour, the participants traveled to all municipalities of the region and visited outstanding sights and service providers involved in the field of tourism. The purpose of this activity is to further promote the Samtskhe-Javakheti and enhance the private sector in the region.
