Route Description

The first one will take you to Uznariani fortress. The fortress is a monument of the 13th century, which is built on a rocky shore at the edge of Daba Tsaghveri. From the fortress, the route also continues in the direction of Mzetamze village and then it is possible to go to Bakuriani.
At first, the trail from Uznariani fortress enters the forest in a small valley, then climbs up and takes you to the entrance of Mzetamze near the driveway. The path enters the streets of Mzetamze and from there we will follow the forest path in the south direction, after then we will find ourselves on the ridge between Bakuriani and Mzetamze, from where we can go down the forest path to the resort of Bakuriani where the route will end.
