The route starts at the Khertvisi fortress which is built on a rocky mountain, at the confluence of Tavparavni and Mtkvari rivers. Trail will follow the asphalt road to the gate of Khertvisi fortress and before reaching Khertvisi gardens, it will take the uphill towards Kvarsha in the southeast direction. The serpentine trail widens in some places.
The route takes start from the entrance of Vardzia Historical – Architectural Museum Reserve and via asphalt road follows a set of serpentines twisting through a long ascend. On the third turn of serpentine it connects to a small trail that leads to the village of Gogasheni. At the entrance of the village flows a small spring; from there the route takes left direction, bypasses a graveyard around the old Church ruins and exits the village.
From the Vardzia outskirts an asphalt road follows a long serpentine and goes uphill. On the third turn of serpentine the road is switched to a small trail that leads the visitors to the village of Gogasheni. A small cold spring flows at the entrance of the village; from this point the route heads south, leaves behind the village dwellings and turns right (to west) towards the Apnia settlement.
The route starts in the vicinity of the Vardzia cave monastery. The itinerary takes path to the northeast direction; from asphalt road connects to a dirt road and heads towards the Tmogvi Fortress. It passes underneath rocks and pillars, crosses the village and takes a footpath, which leads to an open meadow. Soon itinerary sidesteps an old ruined settlement, a farm building and goes downhill to the banks of the River Mtkvari.
The route starts from the center of the village Ijareti. The village claims the remnants of a 12th-century monastery complex, mainly a tiny, but unique bell tower It is believed to be one of the oldest bell towers in Georgia.
From Ude Up to the end the route follows motorized dirt road and passes through the sub-alpine zone, where are located Iailebi – summer settlements of herdsmen. The border with Turkey runs just a hundred meters away from that area. This route also can be taken by horseback or bicycle. Throughout the itinerary, visitors will encounter many different types of delicious springs.
The route starts from the center of village Tori and follows the dirt road from the beginning, then turns to the forest path and leads to the old church of Tori. On the way, it is possible to visit the old settlements of Tori, there is also a spring. From the church, a forest trail descends to the village Tba.
The route starts on the outskirts of Borjomi, at the south-eastern edge. A dirt road with a long serpentine leads travelers into the woodland This whole itinerary runs through a misty forest, where hundreds of shades of green create a boosted color palette and represent an unforgettable visual spectacle. The thrill of this journey is reinforced by the fact that suddenly in the middle of the forest all the trails disappear.
The route allows to walk in Tsaghveri Park and enjoy the beautiful nature and mineral springs. There are six mineral springs in Tsaghveri Forest-Park. The path enters in Tsaghveri park, passing first the lower N13 mineral spring, and then the upper springs N1 and N2. From there, the route enters the forest and takes you to the N10 and N9 mineral springs, from where you will cross the Gujaretistskali river to the N5 mineral spring and waterfall. From there it is possible to climb to Uznariani fortress.
The first one will take you to Uznariani fortress. The fortress is a monument of the 13th century, which is built on a rocky shore at the edge of Daba Tsaghveri. From the fortress, the route also continues in the direction of Mzetamze village and then it is possible to go to Bakuriani.
At first, the trail from Uznariani fortress enters the forest in a small valley, then climbs up and takes you to the entrance of Mzetamze near the driveway.
The Route starts from Borjomi, on the central road, goes downhill and crosses the pedestrian bridge, passes through the streets of the settlement of Papa and then follows the train tracks and makes its way to Petre fortress. The train track is active and you must be carefull ! From the train rails, the path goes up into the forest and soon we will approach Petre fortress.
The route allows to walk in nature and visit Tamari Fortress. The location of the Fortress is really excellent, from the Fortress there is a view of the entire Akhaldaba and the strategic, historical roads passing through it. This is the reason for the rich history of the Fortress.
