მარშრუტი იძლევა საშუალებას ბუნებაში გასეირნების და თამარის ციხის მონახულების. ციხეს ადგილმდებარეობა მართლაც შესანიშნავი აქვს, ციხიდან იშლება ხედი მთელს ახალდაბაზე და მასზე გამავალ სტრატეგიულ, ისტორიულ გზებზე. ესაა მიზეზი სწორედ ციხის მდიდარი ისტორიისა.
ბილიკი ბორჯომიდან, ცენტრალური სამანქანე გზიდან იწყება, ჩაუყვება დაღმართს და გადადის საცალფეხო ხიდზე, გაივლის ფაფის დასახლების ქუჩებს და შემდეგ გაუყვება მატარებლის ლიანდაგის განაპირას და გეზს აიღებს პეტრეს ციხისკენ. საყურადღებოა რომ მატარებლის ლიანდაგი მოქმედია და საჭიროა სიფრთხილის გამოჩენა ! ლიანდაგებიდან ბილიკი ზემოთ ტყეში ავა და მალევე მივადგებით პეტრეს ციხეს.
პირველი აგიყვანთ უზნარიანის ციხეზე. ციხე XIII საუკუნის ძეგლია, რომელიც დაბა წაღვერის განაპირას კლდოვან ნაპირზეა აღმართული. ციხიდან ასევე მარშრუტი გრძელდება სოფელ მზეთამზეს მიმართულებით და შემდეგ შესაძლებელია ბაკურიანში გადასვლაც.
მარშრუტი გაძლევთ საშუალებას წაღვერის პარკში გაისეირნოთ და დატკბეთ ლამაზი ბუნებით და მინერალური წყაროებით. წაღვერის ტყე-პარკში ექვსი მინერალური წყაროა.
მარშრუტი ქალაქ ბორჯომის განაპირას, სამხრეთ-აღმოსავლეთ კიდესთან იწყება. სამანქანო გრუნტის გზა გრძელი სერპანტინით შეუძღვება მოგზაურებს ტყეში. მთელი ეს მარშრუტი დაბურულ ტყიან მასივზე გადის, სადაც ასობით მწვანე ელფერის გრადაცია საოცარ ფერთა გამას ქმნის და დაუვიწყარ ვიზუალურ სანახაობას წარმოადგენს.
მარშრუტი სოფელ თორის ცენტრიდან იწყება და სამანქანო გრუნტის გზას მიუყვება თავიდან, შემდეგ გადადის ტყის ბილიკზე და მიემართება თორის ძველ ეკლესიამდე. გზად შესაძლებელია თორის ნასახლარების მონახულებაც, აქვეა წყაროც.
მარშრუტი ბოლომდე მიუყვება სამანქანო გრუნტის გზას და გადის სუბალპურ ზონაში, სადაც შესაძლებელია მჭიდროდ განლაგებული მწყემსთა დასახლებების მონახულება. ამ მიდამოებიდან სულ რაღაც ასიოდე მეტრში გადის თურქეთის საზღვარი. აღნიშნული მარშრუტის გავლა ასევე შესაძლებელია ცხენებით ან ველოსიპედით. მთელი მარშრუტის განმავლობაში ვიზიტორები მრავლად შეხვდებიან სხვადასხვა ტიპის გემრიელ წყაროებს.
მარშრუტი სოფელ იჯარეთის ცენტრიდან იწყება. სოფელი თავს იწონებს XII საუკუნის სამონასტრო კომპლექსის ნაშთებით, განსაკუთრებით კი პატარა, მაგრამ უნიკალური სამრეკლოთი. ვარაუდით ის საქართველოში ერთ-ერთი უძველესი სამრეკლო უნდა იყოს.
მარშრუტი მიუყვება გრუნტის გზას, რომელიც საბოლოოდ თრიალას ტბებთან მიგვიყვანს. გზის საპირისპირო მხარეს იშლება შთამბეჭდავი ხედები მესხეთის თვალუწვდენელ ქედსა და კლდეზე ამოწვერილ ოქროს ციხეზე რომელიც იმდენად ჰარმონიულად ერწყმის კლდის ფაქტურას, რომ ერთი მთლიანობა გეგონებათ.
მარშრუტი იწყება ვარძიის სამონასტრო ანსამბლის მისადგომებთან. გეზს იღებს ჩრდილო-აღმოსავლეთის მიმართულებით, ასფალტიანი გზიდან გრუნტის გზაზე გადადის და მიემართება თმოგვის ციხისკენ. გაივლის კლდეების ქვეშ, გადაკვეთს სოფელს, დაადგება საფეხმავლო ბილიკს და გავა მინდორში. უკან ჩამოიტოვებს ნასოფლარს და ფერმის შენობას.
ვარძიიდან მარშრუტი ასფალტიან გზას მიუყვება და სერპანტინებით მიიწევს აღმართში. მესამე სერპანტინზე ბილიკზე გადაინაცვლებს, რომელიც სოფელ გოგაშენამდე მიდის. სოფლის შესასვლელეში წყარო მოედინება, აქედან გზა მარცხენა მიმართულებით მიდის, ჩამოიტოვებს უკან სოფლის გასასვლელში განფენილ სასაფლაოს, სადაც დანგრეული ეკლესია დგას.
ვარძიიდან მარშრუტი ასფალტიან გზას მიუყვება და სერპანტინებით მიიწევს აღმართში. მესამე სერპანტინზე ბილიკზე გადაინაცვლებს, რომელიც სოფელ გოგაშენამდე მიდის. სოფლის შესასვლელეში წყარო მოედინება, აქედან გზა მარცხენა მიმართულებით მიდის, ჩამოიტოვებს უკან სოფლის გასასვლელში განფენილ სასაფლაოს, სადაც დანგრეული ეკლესია დგას.
მარშრუტი ხერთვისის ციხესთან იწყება, თავფარავნისა და მტკვრის შესართავთან, კლდოვან მთაზე გაშენებულ ციხესიმაგრესთან. მოასფალტებულ გზას ხერთვისის ციხის კარიბჭემდე მიუყვება და ხერთვისის ბაღებამდე არ მისული, კვარშისკენ მიმავალ აღმართს დაადგება სამხრეთ-აღმოსავლეთის მიმართულებით.

Modern day Atskuri is a small village, backed up with an immense past, such as traces of ancient settlements, the remains of the magnificent medieval temple of the Virgin or cascade of enclosed Fortresses.
The tourist route takes start at the village Idumala and follows an asphalt road towards village Oshora. The route can also begin from the village Oshori and continue its ways towards north-east until reaching the first crossroad. At this point the route turns to the left, crosses a small stream and ends up in an open meadow – a perfect camping and overnight place.
The hike begins following a small path outside the monastery fence, which leads to the upper fort of Saro. Before reaching the tower, it turns left and sets off on a short trail towards the village of Nijgori. This is a historical trail, which for centuries was used by the local people of Saro-Khizabavara to harvest their orchards and vineyards planted along the Mtkvari Valley.

The route starts at the center of the village Ota, near a small spring, leaves behind the dwellings and exits the village. The dirt road goes north towards the Gharta church. Initially, the itinerary passes through a bare field, gradually switched by a light forest. Eventually it approaches an old spring and a meadow, in the middle of which stands the church of Gharta, bounded by centuries-old trees and time flow.
The route starts at the bus station of the town Adigeni; it follows the asphalt road, enters the village Adigeni, takes the path to the left, and finds itself in the middle of fenced wheat fields.
The captivating sight of Zanavi and Okro fortresses perched on steep cliffs can be spotted on the way. If the weather is clear and no clouds float in the sky, then you can observe the major beauty of Javakheti, a double summit of the volcanic Mount Didi Abuli.
The route starts in Kurtskhana valley, veiled in everlasting green, at the Baghdati-Abastumani bypass road, 3,2 km from Abastumani. The road goes along the Kurtskhana River for about 2 km, then turns left, crosses the river over, and appears in a field. There stands an isolated forester’s lodge. The itinerary continues on a mountain slope.
The route starts at the center of the village Shoka and follows the asphalt road towards the Okro Fortress. Swiftly the itinerary passes a flowing spring near the exit of the village and connects to a dirt road. Shortly the travelers can spot a mesmerizing sight of the grand Okro Fortress, floating atop the mountain.
The route takes start at the entrance of Gandzani village, near the Tbilisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda highway. It passes the Gandzani Church, the Gandzani Bridge, exits the village, and makes its way to the west, towards Mount Patara Abuli. In the open field shielded with stones, at the foot of the Mount Patara Abuli, is spotted an old spring.
